Parking and Directions

Parking for a performance presented by CPA has never been easier. We’ve recently expanded event parking services for CPA Series events, including the option to reserve a parking space in advance! Our goal is to help you spend less energy on parking and more energy on enjoying the performance.

Parking: CPA Series Events

CPA events are presented in three venues on UNC-Chapel Hill’s campus: Memorial Hall, Moeser Auditorium at Hill Hall, and CURRENT ArtSpace + Studio. See below to find the parking options available for each location.

Public Pay Lots

During all CPA events in Memorial Hall, there are three nearby parking lots—NashCaldwell/Bynum, and Morehead—reserved exclusively for CPA patron use, making it easier for patrons to find parking and to find it closer to our venues.

During Hill Hall events, Morehead is the only lot reserved for CPA patrons.

For events at CURRENT ArtSpace + Studio, parking at Carolina Square is convenient, but can be expensive. The first 45 minutes are free. The next 45 minutes cost $2. Every hour after that costs an additional $5 per hour. A more affordable option is the Rosemary Lot off of Rosemary Street, below Spicy 9 and Que Chula.

Purchase your parking permit for either the Morehead, Caldwell or Nash lot in advance ($5 per car) through ParkMobile to reserve your space and make your arrival and parking experience as efficient as possible. Upon arrival, simply display your virtual permit (QR code) to the lot monitor to have it scanned before you park. You can also pay via credit card upon arrival. Please note that lot monitors may not accept cash payments.

IMPORTANT: The markers noting the locations of parking lots do not always display accurately with the ParkMobile system. If you need assistance navigating to your permitted lot, please use these links:

Public Pay Lots are open beginning at 5:30 PM.
