“Buddy Guy…was born for the stage.” – Slant Magazine

Famous for his blistering vocals and high-voltage playing, blues idol Buddy Guy is the genre’s most intoxicating guitarist. A major influence on Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan and still touring the globe at age 79, he’s a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and a Kennedy Center honoree for lifetime contribution to American culture. He has received six Grammy Awards, a 2015 Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award, 34 Blues Music Awards (the most any artist has received), Billboard’s Century Award for distinguished artistic achievement and the Presidential National Medal of Arts.
