Starting August 15, 2019, new weeknight parking rules are in effect for UNC’s campus. Please visit the UNC Transportation website for more details.

We know that parking in Chapel Hill can be a challenge. For the best experience, we recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to the performance. Note that late seating varies by performance; if you are late, you may not be seated until there is a break. Please peruse the parking options below as well as our printable map and tips.

UNC Campus Parking

PLEASE NOTE:  UNC campus parking locations are not guaranteed as the University reserves the right to reserve them for other campus events. Please check signage before parking. 

Starting August 15, 2019, all weeknight (Mon.-Thurs. from 5 PM-7:30 AM) parking on campus will require payment. Weekend parking (Fri.-Sun.) will not be affected. Please visit the UNC Transportation website for more details. 

Downtown Parking

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking convenient to Memorial Hall and Moeser Auditorium in Hill Hall is available free of charge in the UNC Swain Lot located across from Memorial Hall for all CPA series events. Parking in UNC Swain Lot is first-come, first-served with 50 spots available for patrons with accessibility needs. Golf cart shuttle transportation is provided to and from the front entrance of the hall.

Accessible parking convenient to CURRENT ArtSpace + Studio is available in the Carolina Square Deck (123 W. Franklin St.).

Carolina Performing Arts does not offer reserved accessible parking spots for any performances.

Donor Parking

Silver Level donors and above at Carolina Performing Arts receive reserved parking spaces. To learn more about becoming a donor and the accompanying membership benefits, please contact Associate Director of Development Ketura Parker at 919.843.0516.

Valet Parking

Enjoy downtown with the ease of valet parking at participating Franklin Street businesses. Valet stands are located on West Franklin Street for your convenience.
